ABOUT US

LAKE MARY, FL

ESTABLISHED
2010

Among the pioneers of Japanese cuisine, it all started back in 1996 Mikado opened the first little sushi shop in New Jersey. We were welcomed by our neighboring folks and soon became loyal customers. Through the magic of word of mouth, MIkado expanded rapidly. We are so proud of our artfully prepared food and the quality of our ingredients, that these together with MIkado's friendly atmosphere keep our customers coming again and again. In July of 2007 Mikado opened their second location in highly recognized Central Florida area of Hunter's Creek. Serving the same style dishes from our very first location.

In 2010, Mikado opened their third location in Lake Mary, FL. Our brand new location in Altamonte Springs is the first high-end Japanese sushi & seafood buffet style in Central Florida. We wanted to spread our love of MIkado modern Japanese cuisine throughout all of Central Florida. Japanese cuisine is an art in which anesthetics stem from product freshness and quality, and where preparation is just as critical as the presentation. The food must be pleasing both the eye and plate, making Japanese Cuisine a truly sensual experience.

At Mikado, we are passionate about modern Japanese Cuisine! We love it's flavor, fusion, texture, contrast, freshness, and balance. Mikado modestly tries to master this art in skillfully preparing sushi and sashimi as well as tempura, teriyaki, soba and a vast assortment of other succulent or Mikado style signature dishes. We hope you find every aspect a true surprise!
