Think all buffets are created equally? At Mikado Japanese Seafood Buffet, we've developed the highest standard for buffet-style dining. We only use the freshest and finest ingredients to create our Japanese inspired cuisine. Sushi is our specialty and we offer lots of it! Our guest can enjoy over 30 selections of sushi and sashimi that are not only skillfully prepared but artfully presented as well, including hand rolls that are made-to-order.
Mikado restaurants are family oriented and offer a wide selection of food to appeal to a range of tasters that are considered Asian Fusion Entrees. We challenge you to try every one of our traditional and contemporary Japanese hot food dishes including yakisoba, beef and chicken teriyaki, tempura, gyoza dumplings, and udon noodles soup made-to-order. Also, we offer a teppan-yaki grill station where our chef will promptly cook your selection of beef, chicken or vegetable while you wait must try-our fresh off the grill Kabobs. We've also added a healthy mix of all time seafood favorites to our menu such as snow crab legs, jumbo shrimp, oysters, and steamed fish. In addition, most of the salad dishes are Asian fusion dishes that are in-house prepared and a variety of fresh fruit (seasonal). The dessert bar also offers a flavor of international fusion pastries. Also, we served domestic and imported beers, wine and sake.
MIKADO JAPANESE RESTAURANT
EXECUTIVE CHEF MIKADO JAPANESE CUISINE | ALTAMONTE SPRINGS
Chef Tin Liu has always had an interest in Japanese culture. In the early 2000s, Chef Tin decided to join the popular Japanese Resturant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, known as Haru. This was the start of Chef Tin's road to honing his knife skill and studying Japanese culture.
A year later, Chef Tin moved on to a growing Japanese establishment in Central Florida. Mikado Sushi gave Chef Tin the opportunity to further expand his knowledge about Japanese Seafood Buffet to ensure that we notably present our ingredients through quality and flavor.
Liu's passion for Japanese flavor has led to a modestly mastered art and all while earning an honorable reputation as an Executive Chef at Mikado Sushi.
